Work experience

2014 – 2018

In June of 2014, I started at my first job at the age of 14 at Leenders Roosters. This is a metal flooring production company, specialised in floors for livestock. Of course, much relevant experience wasn’t gained, as I functioned as a production employee. Governmental regulations also made sure I was not too close to any dangerous machines or that I worked too many hours. However, I did develop the foundations of work ethics. Every saturday, my alarm went off at 5 am. Then at 6 am, six hours of manual labour started. During these hours, I was dedicated to perform as best as I could.

2018 – 2020

August 2018 was when I decided to find a more relevant job. My curiosity about working in a store was combined with my interest in digital devices. This resulted in an application for a function as customer service representative at MediaMarkt in Eindhoven. The difference between this and the previous job was like night and day. There was much more contact with both customers and colleagues. Each customer had a different story, question or complaint. That meant that creativity was key in the process of finding the best solution for all parties involved.

2020 – present day

After working at MediaMarkt for one and a half year, it was time for a new challenge. In February 2020, I started as the first marketeer at Koks Podopraktijk in Gemert. What I assumed to be a small family business turned out te be one of the biggest insole producers in the Benelux. They operate on a business-to-consumer level. During my work there, I proposed to launch a rebranding of the business-to-business side of the organisation, launching Feeture Insoles.
